Hearty Taco Soup – Meal in Jar

Ingredients:
In a Quart sized wide mouth jar or mylar bag, layer:
3/4 C Thrive Sausage Crumbles
3/4 C Thrive Ground Beef
¼ C Thrive FD Onions
1 Cup Thrive Instant Black Beans
1/3 C Thrive FD Corn
3 – 4 T Thrive Mixed Bell Peppers
2 – 3 T Thrive FD Green Chilies
2 T Taco Seasoning Mix
2 tsp Cumin
¼ C Thrive Sour Cream Powder
¼ C Thrive Tomato Powder
¼ C Thrive Cheese Blend
1 T Thrive FD Cilantro
Top with oxygen Absorber and seal

To Prepare:
Remove Oxygen absorber.
Add all ingredients to a large pot.
Whisk in 6 3/4 – 7 Cups of water, depending on how thick you like your soup.
Bring to boil and simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Always remember good basic safety procedures with dehydrated foods:
1. Be sure all jars and equipment have been washed, dried and sanitized.
2. When re-packaging freeze dried meats, be sure to do so within 24 hours of opening the can.
3. As with all freeze dried foods, store in a cool, dark, place for best shelf life extension.

    1. Big thanks Robin. After we filmed and processed the video we both realized it would be great to film the cooked bowl too. This was the first time we collaborated and will be doing more in the near future 🙂
